Visa Information for Entry and Stay in Nepal
Visa can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, at border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on Nepal-India border and Rasuwa Gadi on Nepal-China border. However, there are restriction on travelers from certain countries who need to obtain visa prior to arrival.

Visa renewal can also be obtained at Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu. A valid passport and one passport -size photo with a light background is required. Extension of minimum 15 days costs US$ 45 and US$ 3 for additional days. In case of delay less than 150 days, US$ 5 per day as a late fine.
