Essential Equipment Checklist for Outdoor Adventure Trekking Trips
Equipment Checklist
Following is the equipment checklist for our outdoor adventure trekking trips. This is a guide line only and all that listed here is not a must.
Foot Wears
- Trekking or running shoes with good soles,
- Socks both thick and thin,
Clothing
- Down or fiber filled jacket,
- Jumper or pile jacket,
- Hiking shorts/skirts,
- Waterproof jackets, poncho or umbrella if trekking during the rainy season,
- Hiking pants,
- T-shirts long and short sleeves,
- Sun hat/caps,
Other Equipment
- Small back pack,
- Duffel bags with plastic liner and locks,
- Sleeping bags,
- Water bottle,
- Torch (flashlight), batteries and bulbs,
Miscellaneous Items
- Toiletries
- Sun screen and snow block cream
- Towel
- Laundry soap
- Your personal medical kit (paracetamol, iodex, handyplast, bandages, diamox for altitude sickness)
- Gloves
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Water purification tablets if you do not intend to buy bottled water
Additional For treks higher than 4000 m.
- Mountain trekking boots, trainers
- Socks woolen to wear with boots
- Socks light cotton for under woolen socks
- Woolen gloves
- Insulated pants
- Nylon wind breakers
- Nylon wind pants
- Woolen hats (balaclava).
