Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT PROCEDURE:

Our company requires that you make a deposit down payment of 10% of the total trek cost before the start of the trek. The remaining payment should be cleared promptly before the start of trek. We require the advance deposit to make your flight, hotel and transfer reservations. Upon receipt of your deposit we will consider your trek confirmed and will go ahead and make the necessary reservations and will also have a professional guide, expert in the local area, reserved in time for your services.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

A written notice should be forwarded to Snow Leopard trek explaining the reason why the trip had to be cancelled. The date on which Snow Leopard Trek receives the mail shall stand valid (not the mail posted date) for determining the time.

NO REFUND:

No refund on advance payment shall be made if trip is cancelled after advance has been paid and the trip confirmed.

No refund shall be made after the total payment has been made; or after the trip has begun (after your arrival in Kathmandu) and if one abandons the trip for any reason whatsoever.

No refund on the total cost will be made in case your total trek duration is shortened or cancelled for any reason whatsoever after the trek has begun.

NO SHOW: 

The above cancellation policy will not apply in case of cancellation of international arrival flight or flight missed. However, Snow Leopard can make changes in the itinerary due to change in dates. Any additional cost arising from this event will have to be borne by the clients.

Cancellation Policy for Hotels:

There will be a 50% cancellation charge on rooms if reservation is cancelled 24 hours prior to room occupancy date.

There will be 100% cancellation on room charge if room is cancelled on the day of occupancy.

Cancellation Policy for Sightseeing Tours and Day Hike:

No refund on advance payment will be if trip is cancelled after advance has been paid.

No refund shall be made after the total payment has been made; or after the trip has begun and if one abandons the trip for any reason whatsoever.

Cancellation Policy for Domestic Private Airlines:

One Day Prior to Flight Date: 10% of flight cost.

Day of Flight and two hours before flight time: 33.33% of flight cost.

Two hours before flight time till flight time and beyond: 100% of flight cost.

Nepal Airlines Corporation:

Till One Day Prior to Flight Date after issue of Ticket  :           25% of flight cost

Day of Flight and two hours before flight time               :           50% of flight cost.

Two hours before flight time till flight time and beyond :           100% of flight cost.

Note: Nepal Airlines Corporation’s above cancellation policy also applied for its chartered flights

LIABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The client/s fully understand and agrees not to hold responsible Snow Leopard or it’s agent/s who provide services such as accommodation and transportation for losses incurring from government and political situation, natural calamities, weather, strikes, mobs, accidents, injuries, death, etc. However, Snow Leopard will make every effort in her capacity to minimize the inconveniences.
