Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Thursday announced the launch of the ‘Experience Nepal’ campaign in partnership with the American Express and Himalayan Bank. This global campaign aims to promote Nepal as an international tourist destination offering unique, authentic experiences for the American Express card holders across the globe.
As part of this exclusive partnership, the American Express card holders can avail special privileges and discount offers at over 80+ merchants across Nepal who are participating in this campaign.
According to Himalayan Bank, these offers can be available across multiple categories including dining, lodging, adventure sports, local art and crafts etc offering the card bearers a chance to experience the local flavours and cultures of Nepal.
The participating merchant partners include renowned brands like Dwarika’s Hotel, Hotel Del La Annapurna, Fishtail Lodge, Hotel Ambassador, Hotel Everest View, Hotel Shangri La, Water Front Resort, Sherpa, Nepali Chulo, Fire and Ice and Kaiser Café among others, the bank said in a statement.
The campaign which started on May 16 and will run through June 2020 aims to target American Express card holders in several countries including India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, France, Germany, the United Kingdom etc.
This campaign will be actively promoted through the website and mobile app of the American Express as well as by the participating merchant partners.
The statement said that NTB will play a key role in promoting the campaign in various countries through its website, trade fairs, offline and social media channels.
“This campaign will also be promoted across all Tourism Information Centres within Nepal as well as at the Tribhuvan International Airport,” the statement added.
