Snow leopard trek distributed tents, a sack of rice to our guide’s families from Kerung Village in Solukhumbu, who have lost their homes. We are to provide tent, sack of rice and blankets for around 150 families. Dambar, Dil Bahadur and Kul Dhoj from Kerung have lost their homes in this earthquake.
On 23Rd May, Samden headed for the remote village of Thupten Choling, an hour walk from Junbensi in the Everest Region: the Sherpa community’s ancestral monastery there has been affected by the quake and 300 nuns have been displaced as a result.We built temporary shelter for these nuns so that they can pass through the soon approaching monsoon.
Snow Leopard Trek distributed Zinc for around 35 households in Ang Pang village at Solukhumbu district for building temporary shelter to tackle this monsoon.
