Annapurna Region
The Annapurna region lies towards the north of Central Nepal. This area is the most popular trekking destination in Nepal, consisting of Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Annapurna South peaks, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and others. The popular trekking routes of this region are Jomsom, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghandruk, Ghorepani Poon hill, Upper Mustang and Tilicho lake trek. The less crowded trekking trails with equally scenic beauty and rich culture are Siklis trek, Mardi himal trek, Dhaulagiri trek, Panchase Trek. The best time to visit is during spring and autumn.
