Day 02: Early morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Leh.
Day 03: Free day in Leh.
Day 04: Drive to Stok village
Day 05: Trek to Yuretse (4030 m)
Day 06: Trek to Skiu (3600 m)
Day 07: Trek to Zanskar and drive back to Leh
Day 08: Sightseeing
Day 09: Trip to Pongong Lake
Day 10: Return to Leh. Overnight hotel full board.
Day 11: Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight.
Day 01: Arrive New Delhi
Transfer to your hotel near the airport. Overnight hotel.
Day 02: Early morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Leh.
Arrive Leh, transfer to hotel. Rest day to get accalamatize. Overnight hotel on full board.
Day 03: Free day in Leh.
Time to explore the town.
Day 04: Drive to Stok village.
After visiting the Palace, time to star your 4 days trek. Trek to the base of Stok-la pass. 5 hours walk, 4200m. Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Yuretse (4030 m)
After breakfast start climbing upto the top of Stok-la pass 4900m. A long descend will bring you to the village of Rumbek. Afterwards a gradual climb to the camp at Yuretse. 6 hours trek. Yuretse is 4030m.
Day 06: Trek to Skiu (3600 m)
A gradual ascent followed by a steep climb gets one to the Ganda la 4850m. From here views extend south to the Zanskar range and distant summits of the Himalayan range. This is followed by a long descent to Shingo village. From Shingo the trail heads into a narrow gorge leading towards Skiu. At Skiu there is a confluence of the rivers coming from Markha valley and Shingo. 6 hours trek. Skiu is 3600m.
Day 07: Trek to Zanskar and drive back to Leh
After early breakfast walk down to Chilling in 2 hours to the river Zanskar. The river is crossed by means of cable and trolley, which takes some time as several trips have to be made. Your vehicle is waiting at Chilling to take you to Leh in 2 hours, 60 km. Overnight hotel with dinner.
Day 08: Sightseeing
Free day in Leh after the trek, some nearby sightseeing will be arranged. Overnight in hotel at Leh full board.
Day 09: Trip to Pongong Lake
A 300 km return trip to Pongong lake. Overnight in camp at the lake. This is a high altitude lake close to the border with Tibet. Beautiful blue in color, sunrise and sunset are the best for taking photographs. Full board.
Day 10: Return to Leh. Overnight hotel full board.
Day 11: Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight.
