Snow Leopard Trek has organized several treks for students from the Lincoln School, a Kathmandu-based American school, the American International School in Chennai/ India, and the British School in Dhahran. We call our student based adventure tourism groups “The Leadership Development Program”. These programs offer students first-hand experience into community development in rural Nepal. Students get an opportunity to interact with local national park officers, development officers, community user groups, community leaders, and stakeholders, and exchange culture and sporting activities with local community schools. In 1992, Snow Leopard started its first initiative for student treks with the Lincoln School. Today, Snow Leopard Trek has been running trekking trips for students of the American International School in Chennai, American International School in Vienna and the British School in Dhahran.
