Currently, Yankila is the vice president of a non-profit organization called Trans Himalayan Environment and Livelihood Programme (T-HELP) Nepal, which has a network spreading across and beyond the Northern Himalayan belt includingNepal, Bhutan, Ladakh, and Tibet, all of which share similar environments and cultures. T-HELP Nepal works with environmental issues and is committed to promoting income generation programs through ecotourism and organic farming of the Himalayan and hilly regions.
