The Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the mountain ranges of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km, depending on where motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna Massif. The path reaches its highest point at Thorung La pass, reaching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Most trekkers hike the route anticlockwise, as this way the daily altitude gain is slower, and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safer.

This is an interesting and exotic area still unspoilt. It is still not as touristic as other trekking destinations such as the Annapurna, Everest and Lantang regions. Only you have got to be in a fit condition with some experience in trekking. The Manaslu circuit is a stunning trek with spectacular views of Mount Manaslu (8163 m) and the Ganesh Himal Range, among others. Along the trail you encounter an interesting mix of authentic Hindu and Tibetan-style Buddhist villages. 

Makalu-Barun National Park, a virtually uninhabited 1500 km area of Eastern Nepal, is very close to virgin wilderness. This remote terrain stretches east from Mt. Everest National Park, between the high plateau of Tibet and the deep subtropical gorge carved by the Arun River. There are spectacular views of rugged Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Makalu (8463 m), fifth highest in the world, Mt. Chamlang (7319 m) and Mt. Baruntse (7129 m). Within 40 km, these high peaks descend to the Arun River at 670 m. The Makalu-Barun Valley provides stunning contrasts, where high waterfalls cascade into deep gorges, craggy rocks rise from lush green forests, and colorful flowers bloom beneath white snow peaks.

Tamang heritage trek is a culturally rich trail, populated by the Tamang people who are closer to the Tibetan traditions as it touches the Tibetan border in the north. This trek combines of picturesque landscape, luring white peaks scattered antique villages.

Everest Base Camp trek is a great trekking route, as it offers one of the most spectacular up close and breathtaking views of the Eastern Mountains of Nepal including Mount Everest in the beautiful Sagarmatha National Park. Also walking through ethnic mountain villages of Sherpa communities will be a worthwhile experience. 

The Annapurna base camp trek is a popular trek as it starts from Pokhara, which is accessible both by flight and by bus from Kathmandu. This trek is a great choice, as it offers one of the most spectacular up-close and breathtaking views of the Annapurna Mountains located in the magnificent Annapurna Conservation Area along with experience into the Nepalese village way of life. 

Ghorepani/Poon-hill trek:  This trek is very popular among visitors to Nepal who wish to experience a shorter trek. The stunning mountain scenery, beautiful ethnic villages and unique culture validate the popularity of Ghorepani trekking. Ghorepani, located just north of Pokhara, offers some of the most dramatic close up views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. The Ghorepani trek starts from Pokhara, which is accessible both by flight and bus from Kathmandu.

Mardi Himal trek is an unseen gem yet. Few trekkers make their way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp outstandingly positioned at the base of Mardi Himal and the Annapurna region´s most iconic mount Machhapuchhre literally meaning "Fish tail". The trail goes along small winding paths, through enchanted rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300 meter. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
