Born in Solukhumbu, Nima loves climbing and is fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi, Tibetan and Sherpa languages.Nima has an experienced of 10 years of climbing. He has climbed almost all renowned peaks of Nepal. Nima has received Basic and Advanced Mountaineering training as well as Navigation & Map training from Nepal Mountaineering Association and Ice climbing and Rock Climbing training.

Medini - an outdoor enthusiat joined Snow Leopard Trek in 1987 and was responsible matters relationg to Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Guest Relations with 12 years of experience in travel and outdoor adventure businness . He left for UK in year 2000 and rejoined us in 2024 in the same capacity.  

Yankila Sherpa is from Olangchung gola—one of the most remote villages of Eastern Nepal. She is amongst the first women to get a university level education from her region as well as from her community. She feels privileged to have gotten a University education and has dedicated her life to give back to the mountain communities. She see tourism as a medium to uplift the economic standard of mountain communities, to empower its people and especially the women. Yankila has spent over twenty-five years advocating for sustainable and responsible tourism and for the cause of women empowerment.

Today, Yankila is the Vice President of the Trans Himalayan Environment and Livelihood Program ( T-Help), a nonprofit that works for sustainable livelihoods and mountain environment. Yankila is also the chief Advisor the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). Yankila is the Vice Chairman of Kathmandu Valley Public Library, a central library in Nepal. Yankila is also the Past President of the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN) and Past President of the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN).

At present she is a Member of Bagmati State Province Assembly and in recognition of her contribution to the field of sustainable and responsible tourism and women empowerment, Yankila was nominated as State Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in the year 2005/2006. Before that, she was also nominated as Member of Parliament (MP) of the Upper House (National Assembly) of Nepal from 2001 till 2006. Representing women and remote regions, she strongly lobbied for the development of mountain regions, besides promoting conservation and sustainable tourism and women’s economic empowerment.

Yankila is a recipient of several national and international awards for her outstanding contribution in the field of sustainable and responsible tourism and women empowerment. She has been awarded the prestigious Abraham Conservation Award by World Wildlife Fund (WWF). She has also been awarded with the “Priyadarshani Award” as the Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of Nepal of 1999 by the International Summit in New Delhi / India in the year 2000.

Trekking is Samtenla’s first passion and he enjoys the mountain way of life. His goal in life is to promote a cooperative model of sustainable tourism where local communities benefit and mountain culture and environment is preserved. Besides leading the Snow Leopard Trek team, Samtenla volunteers as General Secretary for Cunina- a nonprofit organization that provides education for mountain children. Samtenla has a Masters background in Economics and tirelessly works to develop a sustainable economic model in mountain tourism.

Ananda has been serving this company since its inception. Ananda upholds the managerial position in the office. He also administers the overall correspondence of the office. He is fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi. Ananda also ensures that our account is spruced up and clean!

With over twenty five of experience in the trekking industry, Arun Magar is without doubt one of the most experienced and professional Nepali trekking guides. Arjun is from the Everest region and has been with Snow Leopard Trek for over 20 years. He is very passionate about his job. He loves trekking and meeting people from different cultures. Arjun has done the toughest treks in the Himalayas and he is always ready to serve and finds a lot of fulfillment in making people happy. Arjun is the most caring guide we have at Snow Leopard Trek. He looks after every small details in order to make his guest trip memorable.

Dambar Magar is from the Everest region and has always been interested in nature, adventure and leading people to the mountains. He has unrivalled knowledge of people, culture, tradition and landscape of the region where he was born. He is also qualified and experienced in the field of risk management and first aid.
He is a highly experienced guide who has been working in the field of tourism the last 20 years. Dambar too has been with Snow Leopard Trek for over 15 years.

Man Bahadur was born in a remote village in the Okhaldunga district. He is one of the best in business because of his love and understanding towards his profession and instinct to make new friends. He has unrivaled knowledge of people, culture, tradition and landscape. He has almost trekked to every main and  off the beat trekking trials in Nepal. Most of our clients call him M.B. Man Bahadur is good in English.

Tek is older brother of Man Bahadur. Just like his brother Tek is also very passionate about the tourism especially in trekking. He guided many trips to Nepal including Everest region, Annapurna region and Langtang region. Tek is interested in nature, adventure and leading people to the mountains. He has unrivaled knowledge of people, culture, tradition and landscape of the Nepal. He is also qualified and experienced in the field of risk management and first aid. He is a highly experienced guide who has been working in the field of tourism the last 15 years.

Dil Bahadur has been guiding many of trips to the Himalayas since 1998 and joined us since 2002. He is a very compliant person and a good acquaintance to travel with. His hobby is to travel. He has successfully trekked almost all of the Himalayas like Mt.Everest, Langtang, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Lake and Tibet (Kailash).

Tshering was born in Kimethangka, Nepal. He is the youngest and the most energetic field staff of Snow Leopard Trek. We believe his hard work, punctuality and friendly demeanor has made him popular among guests. He is currently studying and wants to be a successful trekking guide in future.

Ram Krishna’s roots lie in the Okhaldhunga district of Nepal. Born in the year 1980, he has spent his childhood in this beautiful place amid the scenic views of the Himalayas. He is a trained trek leader and has been in this profession for quite a while. He is fluent in English and Hindi other than his mother tongue Nepali. He has taken several of our guests to the famous trekking zones of Nepal namely Everest, Annapurna, Helambu and Langtang. We have received good reviews from our guests about him praising him for his helpfulness and attentiveness.

Kul Dhoj was born in the countryside of Solukhumbu in the year 1975. He is one of our ably trained trek leaders. Having travelled extensively to the well known trek zones of Nepal, he has ample knowledge about the region, culture and the locals habits and behavior. This helps him in running the trips for his guest trouble free and he makes sure that his guests have a good time on their trek. He speaks English, Nepali and Hindi well.

If you know Rajendra, then you can’t help falling in love with his hands! Yes, he is our food connoisseur, our cook. His national and international delicacies and cuisines are a wonderful delight and integral part of our trekking adventures. He personally believes in hygienic, organic and wholesome food.

He is a cheerful man and is an exceptionally experienced cook and an excellent assist all through the trek. He is always very friendly and believes in smiling a lot! He is very polite and hospitable and has trekked to Mt.Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Mustang, Dolpo e.t.c.

Manish Tamang has always been interested in nature, adventure and leading people to the mountains. He has unrivaled knowledge of people, culture, tradition and landscape of the region where he was born. He is also qualified and experienced in the field of risk management and first aid.

A resident of the Okhaldhunga district of Nepal, he was born in the year 1982. He is a trained trekking guide and has been working with HGT since 2005. He can talk in English, Nepali and Hindi languages. He has been to trekking zones like Annapurna, Everest, Langtang many times with different groups. As he believe in good customer service, he has always tried to look after the guests in the best possible way. He is happy with his job and love the thrill that he experience every time he embark on a trek.

Chhatra Bahadur Magar was born in Solukhumbu, Nepal in the 22nd of July 1971. His hard work, punctuality and friendly demeanor has made him popular among guests. Chhatra has always been interested in nature, adventure and leading people to the mountains. He has unrivaled knowledge of people, culture, tradition and landscape of the region where he was born. He is also qualified and experienced in the field of risk management and first aid

Lakpa Wangel Sherpa is from the Makalu region of East Nepal and has been leading climbing expeditions since 1993. Lakpa has received Basic and Advanced Mountaineering training as well as Navigation & Map training from Nepal Mountaineering Association and Ice climbing and Rock Climbing from Khumbu Climbing School. Lakpa loves climbing and travelling and is fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi, and Sherpa languages. He has climbed almost all the peaks in Nepal.
